After a day at the beach we were starving and looking for a place that had options for the entire family. We ran across Tahiti Nui and decided to give it a shot. We were greeted by a friendly host and waited until a table was ready. Once we were finally seated at a tiny table we were excited to order and finally get some food. There was a local band playing music while we looked over the menu. All three of us decided on the pizzas, one with no cheese, one with vegan cheese, and one regular pizza. It was nice that they had some vegan options and with a slight modification the pizza is also vegan. The pizza was good and really hit the spot. The prices were a bit high but what can you do, it's Hawaii. Overall we enjoyed the restaurant and would go back again.

Every time we come to Kauai we must have dinner here. Classic Hawaii is the vibe here and time is standing still which all comes together with great food, drink, service and live music make this place epic by my standards. Make reservations inside by the bar and live music area you don't want to miss.

The menu was a bit limited the night we visited, but the pizza was excellent. It's a homemade thick crust, similar to Mellow Mushroom in CONUS. The toppings and sauce were very satisfying on their personal-sized pizzas.

The older host lady was rude. Other than that everything else was great. I think our server was Chrystal. She was really good and helpful! Carpaccio was the best thing we had. The chocolate crème brûlée was super burnt to the point where we couldn't eat it. We will try it again at some point.

Best Mai Tai on the Island! Food and drink was fantastic hands down. Service was a little apathetic feeling. This is a tourist spot and you felt it. Ambiance was great. It's one of the oldest restaurants on Kauai and the heritage vibe is thick. We went 10 years ago on our honeymoon and now for our anniversary. Highly recommend.

I had made a reservation for 7:30 pm on a Friday, and upon arrival, we had to wait for about 10-15 minutes to receive our table which was absolutely fine with us. Our server was exceptional and took great care in accommodating my allergies. I decided to order a Mai Tai, and while it was delicious, it was a bit too sweet for my liking. As for the main dish, it was incredibly tasty! Despite having to remove the macadamia crust due to my allergies, the flavor of the fish was still perfect. The purple mashed potatoes and sauce were absolutely amazing and packed with flavor. For dessert, our server recommended the cheesecake, and oh boy, it was delicious. We ended up finishing every last bite of it! They had live music which added to the fun! The musician was really good!

We stoped by during the happy hour and i was so glad we did. We got in for the $10 happy hour Mai Tai, 3-5pm, which are the best in my opinion because I was on a mission trying them at different locations. Our server was amazing. She was very welcoming, nice, and made it a point to chat with us and offer some suggestions. She checked on us often and made sure our drinks were never empty. I went for the Hawaiian pizza with the pork option which I highly recommend. It is a 10 inch pizza, good for two people or a large appetite after the beach. The cheese pull on this was incredible. I loved every bite. My husband went with one of her recommendations which was the Ahi Carpaccio with bread. This was amazing and I highly recommend this too. My husband keeps talking about it. This restaurant definitely give us the Hawaii vibe with Hawaiian hospitality. I can't wait to go back!
